Candle Care

Travel Tin Candle Care

Our pure beeswax travel candles are housed in a recycled tin to give you a guilt-free burn every single time. To maximize burn time, allow the candle to burn until the molten pool has reached the tin wall (typically 1 hour or so of burn time). You can continue to burn the candle at this point.

If the flame is favoring one side of the glass, causing an uneven burn, use a metal tool to redirect a curled or angled wick in the opposite direction.

To prevent wick breakage when doing this, be sure to nudge the wick below the level of the molten pool where the wick is not burned and thus stronger.

We recommend using a coaster or candle plate when burning the travel tin candle as the tin becomes hot while burning and may damage surfaces.

This container will have some remaining unused beeswax after the wick has been fully burned. This is normal.
